Cabka to show Eye-Catcher for first time at Fruit Logistica
January 23rd 2012 In February, plastic pallets and boxes Cabka will present for the first time at Fruit Logistica, Berlin (FRUIT LOGISTIKA 2012, Hall 21/F-08 from February 8-10).
In addition to a selection of single- and multi-trip pallets specifically for the needs of the fruit trade, Cabka will show “Eye-Catcher”, a presentation medium for fruit and vegetable counters.
This modular building-block system is for presenting fruit and vegetables in single- and multi-use packaging. With it, the plastic pallet company is giving its first clear sign of a commitment to the box industry.
Optimal presentation of fruit and vegetable products
The goal at the fruit and vegetable counter is to improve the appearance of the products and increase their appeal. This is often done through single or multiple layers of products.
Eye-Catcher enhances the products without the need to remove them from the packaging beforehand. Stacking individual layers of products becomes unnecessary, and the packaging looks fuller.
Ultralight quarter pallet
Also debuting this year is the CPP 090 ultralight, nestable quarter pallet for export shipping and placement of seasonal items at the point of sale. This extremely economical small format handles dynamic loads up to 300kg — with a net weight of barely 1 kilogram.
